    Absolutely the best breakfast place in South Lake Tahoe! Pretty much the best breakfast place ever! The service was wonderful the wait for the food was a tad bit long but it was well worth it as ALL the food is homemade fresh on the spot! The Green Acre scramble was amazing!! Highly recommend the fresh squeezed juices and the spicy Bloody Mary!!!If you can get a table outside that is the topper of the visit!

    Ernie's is an awesome place to have breakfast. The service was great, the food was clean and delicious, and has a menu with everything you can possibly think of for breakfast. We had the huevos rancheros and the green acres scram. The best thing was the green acres because it had tons of veggies which is what I was looking for. It was clean and not greasy at all. The huevos rancheros was great. Even better the next day as leftovers. Portions are on the bigger side so bring your appetite. I would highly recommend this place. Put yourself on the Yelp Waitlist to save time. Parking is a bit challenging in the front but there are spaces on the side and back of the restaurant.

    This place was amazing! Place was packed but got a table quickly and service and staff was perfect! It will now be a permanent spot every time we go back to Tahoe!

    We stopped there to pick up sandwiches on our way to a hike in lake tahoe area. They were very warm and welcoming. We had veggie burger, grilled veggie sandwiche and one Reuben. Everything turned out to be good. Although fries were not great but it might be because we had it after a while and they were cold by that time. Full points to staff for the services. Also very nice decoration.
